Choose a meter where the normal flow is between 20 and 80 percent of maximum flow. If your pump delivers 80 liters per minute, select a meter rated for 20 to 120 liters per minute. Avoid a meter that is too large for the pump because low flow accuracy will drop.
Can mechanical diesel meters handle water in the fuel?
They can pass the water but it causes internal corrosion and register damage over time. Install a water separator upstream. For applications with known water contamination, choose a stainless steel body and check the gear material.
Do I need a pulse output for bulk transfer?
